It's a well known fact by now that I'm not very good at keeping this blog updated. However I am trying and hopefully by the time Nola actually gets here, we'll (maybe I can get Michael to help) be much better.
We're now at 35 weeks and counting down the day for our daughters arrival. Although I like to think I'm prepared, I don't think we are at all. The nursery is all ready. It's just waiting to be filled with clothes, diapers, toys, and oh ya... a baby!!! My parents gave us the furniture for Christmas, and Michaels parents gave us an awesome glider. It's so comfortable I can't stop sitting in it. Our parents are the best! OH... and I made the bumper pads for her crib myself. (Applause please!)
We also had a 4D ultrasound done. Through this we learned many things. One... She's still a girl! Two... She may be shy because she wouldn't un-burry her head from the side of my uterus. Three... She's a turd! Not only did we pay money to get these pictures where she wouldn't show her face, she actually put her hand in front of it when we got her to turn. Mike said he was wearing more of the goo because the technician kept slapping my stomach to try and get her to turn.
All in all... we're really excited for her to get here! The count down is on!
Sweet! You're at the "any day" stage...I hope that goes well for you. :) The nursrey is cute! I didn't know you knew how to sew...so domestic! :)
ReplyDeleteWow I am so impressed with the nursery. It looks great. I am excited to see you in a few weeks! Oh yeah and if you go private again I would like to be invited this time. :)
